It has <strong>a closed end with three lateral orifices<\/strong> and a <strong>spiral armature<\/strong> along its entire length.<\/p>\n<p>It ensures precise positioning, as the tip is deflected by the resistance of the nerve wall. For the same reason, the catheter is also held in place by the firmer structures of fascia that surround it, and it wraps around in this space.
