Ultrasound now plays a major role in loco-regional anaesthesia. For continuous blocks, this translates into the need to visualise the needle as it progresses, as well as the progress and placement of the catheter. SonoLong sets contain a SonoPlex echogenic needle, an echogenic catheter in a rigid sheath, a filter, a FixoLong (for securing the catheter and filter), injection tube and an adapter with the universal yellow colour code.

The SonoLong Catheter set contains a SonoPlex needle available with 3 different tips: Tuohy, Facet or Sprotte®.3 different catheters are available for the set : the SonoLong Echo catheter, the SonoLong Curl Echo catheter and the StimuLong Sono II catheter. SonoLong Echo: Open-end catheter with metal stylet for a greater catheter rigiditySonoLong Curl Echo: Multi-perforated pigtail catheter with metal spiral armatureStimulong Sono II: Reinforced open-end stimulating catheter with metal spiral armatureAvailable in different gauges and lengthsAvailable in Luer and NRFit connectors.
Needle with Cornerstone reflectors for optimum visibility under ultrasound, whatever the puncture angleNeedle with echogenic facet tip for improved visibility under ultrasoundNeedle with NanoLine® coating for easy glidingEasy-to-identify catheter with graduations over the first 30 centimetres3 different catheters available : SonoLong Echo, SonoLong Curl Echo, StimuLong Sono II.
