SONOLONG SOFTSECURE

Catheter sets for ultrasound-guided continuous peripheral nerve blocks

Flexible tip for optimal initial positioning

  • Description

The SonoLong SoftSecure catheter is made of a flexible material (polyurethane), with a stylet that leaves the last five centimetres of the distal tip free. It has a closed end with three lateral orifices and a spiral armature along its entire length.

It ensures precise positioning, as the tip is deflected by the resistance of the nerve wall. For the same reason, the catheter is also held in place by the firmer structures of fascia that surround it, and it wraps around in this space. This technology also eliminates the need for any subsequent displacement associated with patient mobilization.

The SonoLong SoftSecure catheter set contains : SonoPlex echogenic needle with neurostimulation cable and 2 different tips: BNI facet tip or Tuohy tipA closed-end catheter with 3 lateral ports and a stylet leaving the last five centimetres of the distal tip freeA filter and a FixoLong (adhesive filter support)Available in different gauges and lengthsAvailable in Luer and NRFit connectors.
SonoPlex needle with Cornerstone reflectors for optimum visibility under ultrasound, from any puncture angleNeedle with NanoLine® coating for easy gliding Catheter with flexible polyurethane tip, for optimal initial positioning and to avoid secondary displacementsCatheter with spiral armature, anti-plication Easy-to-identify catheter with graduations over the first 30 centimetres
