For 40 years, we have been working hand in hand with Pajunk, the only truly active player on the world market and unique in its focus and specialisation in loco-regional anaesthesia.
As an innovator and trendsetter in the field, , Pajunk® is committed, through its objectives and its new campaign “A New Era”, to advancing the loco-regional anaesthesia market. Its position as a pioneer places the company among the industry leaders, with investments in digitisation, sustainable development and product innovations such as the Sprotte in spinal anaesthesia and the catheters in continuous nerve blocks.
With the introduction of the first Sprotte atraumatic needle in the late 1970s, spinal anaesthesia was rehabilitated as a fully accepted alternative to general anaesthesia.
For titrated spinal anaesthesia, Pajunk® has developed the IntraLong system.
Our Pajunk® EpiSpin set combines a double-orifice Tuohy epidural needle with a Sprotte®-tipped spinal needle and catheter to perform spinal anaesthesia and epidural in a single needle entry.
Pajunk® offers a wide range of needles for peripheral nerve blocks: from the most commonly used SonoPlex echogenic needles to UniPlex NanoLine® needles for neurostimulation, not forgetting SonoTAP echogenic needles without neurostimulation.
With its NanoLine coating, Pajunk’s® UniPlex NanoLine® needle can identify the nerve under neurostimulation.
The patented Cornerstone reflectors in the Sono range are the key feature of all Pajunk® ultrasound needles, providing improved ultrasound visibility, whatever the angle of insertion: SonoPlex II, SonoTAP II, SonoBlock II and SonoEye.
Pajunk® offers a wide range of sets for continuous peripheral nerve blocks
The PlexoLong NanoLine set: NanoLine needle through which a catheter with a mandrel can be passed;
The SonoLong set: SonoPlex echogenic needle through which an echogenic catheter with a mandrel (SonoLong Echo), a reinforced pigtail catheter (SonoLong Curl Echo) or a stimulating catheter (StimuLong Sono II) can be passed;
The new SonoLong SoftSecure set: SonoPlex echogenic needle through which a flexible polyurethane catheter can be passed.
Pajunk® is innovating with a device that makes continuous peripheral nerve blocks as simple as a single shot! Discover the new E-Cath II /E-Cath II Plus.
The InfiltraLong, a multi-perforated catheter with a peel-away cannula introducer or pre-attached curved tunneler, allows the injection of an analgesic agent for continuous wound infiltration.
The Avoset® connected loco-regional analgesia pump is ideal for managing post-operative pain.
The FuserPump is part of a system for analgesia by Continuous Wound Infiltration and is used with the Pajunk InfiltraLong catheter.
The NRFit® connectors have been developed within the framework of the ISO 80369 standard, which provides for unique connectors for each route (enteral, neuraxial, urinary, IV, etc.), so that the connectors for the different routes are mechanically incompatible with each other, thereby reducing the risk of misconnection and route errors.
To date, the UK is the only country where this standard has been made mandatory by the NHS* (National Health Service). In France, a number of establishments have taken the plunge with us, including the Institut Mutualiste Montsouris, Marseille University Hospitals, Valenciennes Hospital, Besançon University Hospital and many others.
