SONOTAP® II NEEDLE

Single-shot echogenic needle without neurostimulation for peripheral nerve blocks

The standard needle for single-shot plexus blocks

  • studies

Initially designed for plane blocks, such as the TAP Block (Transversus Abdominis Plane Block), QL (Quadratus Lumborum block), ESP (Erector Spinae Plane block), etc., the SonoTAP needle has proved its worth for all ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks.

With the SonoTAP® II echogenic needle, PAJUNK® has developed an echogenic needle with patented Cornerstone reflectors (like the SonoPlex II) for improved echogenicity, whatever the puncture angle.

  • The SonoTAP II® needle is available in different lengths and gauges.
  • Available with LUER or NRFit connectors.
  • Facet tip (PAJUNK® patent) with two inclination angles and an average angle of 25°. This tip transmits tactile sensations as it passes through the fascia, limiting the risk of nerve damage
  • Circumferential distribution of reflectors to capture and reflect all of the ultrasound emitted by the ultrasound probe. Patented reflector technology provides optimum visibility under ultrasound, whatever the puncture angle (even the higher angles)
  • Colour-coded hub for quick and easy visual identification of needle size
  • The injection tube is 60 cm long and over-moulded, providing a closed system with no risk of leakage.
